Project Programmer (Harleysville, PA)

The Project Programmer will work independently or lead small teams to take product development projects through all phases from concept through release. The project types will be varied and will include operator interfaces, database apps, real-time industrial control, M2M interfaces, web services, and enterprise integration.

The successful candidate will be intelligent with superior analytical skills. They will bring a professional approach to their tasks and have good oral and written communication skills, along with a desire to stay current with computer and software technology.

  • BS degree
  • 4+ years programming experience

Electronics Service Technician (Harleysville, PA)

This position will perform the functions of starting-up systems, training the end users on the proper operation of the systems, and troubleshooting any possible hardware/software and electromechanical products to get the system operating correctly. The candidate may also be used to perform a complete shop test of the systems to ensure proper operation, help provide telephone support, maintenance and troubleshooting support of our systems, and perform system recoveries.

Primary Job Functions

  • Set-up, install and troubleshoot PCs, PLCs, and related equipment
  • Review schematic diagrams and installation instructions to determine tasks to be performed
  • Start-up equipment to verify operation. Troubleshoot, locate and replace faulty equipment using diagnostics and test equipment.
  • Advise and train the customer in the operation and maintenance of control systems.
  • Evaluate technical problems for the source and then recommends corrective action to the customer.
  • Compile technical data and documentation pertaining to changes and improvements.
  • Handle incoming support calls to help customer with system problems. Includes normal working hours and after-hours as schedule dictates.
  • Log all customer support call and issues. Includes evaluating issues and working with resources to put a corrective action into place, and follow-up of issues until a resolution is confirmed.
  • Travel from 50% to 80% may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent
  • 3+ years commissioning and troubleshooting automation process controls
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows XP and 7, networking and network setup
  • Electrical control wiring experience
  • Willing to travel frequently and for extended stays
